Things weren’t so hunky-dory in the past. As Vinay recollects, “There was a time when things were very low. I couldn’t see how I was going to face so many problems. It was at that time that I met Indian football captain Bhaichung Bhutia. I opened my heart out to him. He simply put his arm around my shoulders and said, “Vinay, at the end of every tunnel there is light.” This gave me immense strength and confidence. And since then he is been a true friend and the best role model for UPSA students, staff & culture.
